The funny part is: "The headphones themselves may begin to give in with crackling sounds or loss of audio in one ear." Loss of audio in one ear?? Not the cup or driver, but in one ear. I suggest leaving it as it is because it does a job superbly that way...for more tube sound...get Cayin HA-6A. That's what I did. :) can't beat this price Cheers! ;)- fidgeraldo

Looks nice, but I really don't know anything about it. But I can guarantee that Auris (I have the previous generation) is one of the best on the market with this price lowered.
