I have and can recommend the DUNU DUW02; it's handy being able to easily change the plugs and there's a Pro version of it out now that seems reasonably priced

I have WiFi enabled all the time and haven't ever experienced this issue. I've just checked my `kmsg` and have 17 occurrences of <6>[1139691.598890] [soft_i][71058181239128][09:44:55.651200] wlan: [0:F:WMA] WLAN triggered wakeup: BPF_ALLOW (39), vdev: 0 (STA) Edit: and at the point yours...

Does anyone else get condensation on the U12t? I've had some for about a week now and since day one, after only 20mins or so of listening there's condensation on the nozzle, enough that i can touch the end of the nozzle and get a ring of moisture on my finger. Switching to foam tips helps a bit...

    ThieAudio Signature Series Tribrid IEMs

For anyone in the UK looking to get new foam tips for the Monarch MKii's, I'd recommend the SonicFoam tips on Amazon, size SF2. The bore size of those are a tiny bit smaller than the stock foams but they still went on fine and the Medium size are a bit wider than Medium stock but for me they fit...

Feature A New Chip! FiiO Portable HiFi Music Player M11 Plus Is Officially Released!

In the same boat. Have had a preorder with advanced mp3 players since the end of March, at which time it was "expected by 15th April". Still no sign, though the last contact I had with them they hoped to get some in this month. I'm also reluctant to order from avshops as it does look a bit...

I'm not an expert but I think bit-perfect and MQA wouldn't be able to make use of any EQ simply by their nature; bit-perfect is no longer bit-perfect if it's gone through any type of processing and, from what I've read in the Hiby DAP threads, MQA isn't allowed to. For everything else, the fact...

Do the likes of PowerAmp EQ (the standalone app) and Wavelet not work? Wavelet is pretty good but PowerAMP EQ has PEQ, supports AutoEQ imports and allows for changes of the specific bands whereas wavelet is fixed to the preset values. I was hoping the M11 Plus would support these as it's Android...

Hiby R6 Pro - serious upgrade to popular DAP

Check location services is off or at least in battery saver mode, this caused my battery problems: https://www.head-fi.org/threads/hiby-r6-pro-serious-upgrade-to-popular-dap.895449/post-16203095

Hiby R6 Pro - serious upgrade to popular DAP

For the past few weeks I've been having terrible battery life to the point where I ended up doing a factory reset, but that didn't help. I'd have 40% battery when i went to sleep and by the next morning the device would be dead. After installing BetterBatteryStats I found that it went into deep...

R5, a new Android DAP by Hiby

Try holding the volume up button while booting, it should get you into recovery mode that says "No Command" with a picture of an android with a red triangle above. From there, hold power and press volume up and you'll get the recovery menu. Start by just wiping the cache; if that doesn't help...

Hiby R6 Pro - serious upgrade to popular DAP

Convolution has always had issues with Amazon HD tracks. I'm using the moondrop blessing 2 file from AutoEQ with 00.002seconds of silence at the front. Works fine when playing files with UAPP, but all Amazon HD tracks have glitching (16-bit 44.1Khz or otherwise)
  13. S

Hiby R6 Pro - serious upgrade to popular DAP

Yes, which most of the Amazon HD tracks are but regardless of the track quality in Amazon, you see 192K in the status bar and convolution doesn't work

Hiby R6 Pro - serious upgrade to popular DAP

A recent update to the Amazon HD app seems to have made it better at detecting device capabilities. For example, on my Pixel4 XL it shows "24-bit / 48 KHz" as normal when playing through the speaker, but as soon as I connect my BW PX7's to bluetooth that changes to "24-bit / 96 KHz" and when...

Hiby R6 Pro - serious upgrade to popular DAP

16.18.0 seems to be working as expected again. How many samples did you add? I'm interested to try this out too. Also, the 44100 file has no affect with AmazonMusicHD 44.1KHz files without unchecking 'Other sample rate bypass'. Presumably we need a 192k version to match what's reported in the...

Hiby R6 Pro - serious upgrade to popular DAP

Anyone else having issues with Amazon Music HD no longer working past 48K? It used to say 192K in the status bar when music was playing but now only 48K and the Device Capability in the app only shows "24-bit / 48 KHz" too. App version is 16.17.4.

Hiby R6 Pro - serious upgrade to popular DAP

Hi, I'm in the same position and had limited success with Tasker and AutoInput. Pausing did work but it conflicted with uapp, which would open itself up and then Amazon wouldn't resume playback without force stopping first. On another note, has SBC with dual channel been considered on this...

    Bowers & Wilkins PX Noise-Cancelling Over-ears

It took 4 attempts for me to successfully update using the Android app, it kept giving an error during transfer. Once it fails the app will no longer prompt to update, instead suggesting the PC/Mac app, but if you clear the app data it lets you try again. Finally worked after disabling ANC and...

    Bowers & Wilkins PX Noise-Cancelling Over-ears

Depends on the source. With an Android device (just checked on a Pixel XL with Oreo), you can force the codec under developer options. There's 'Use System Selection (Default)', followed by the specific codecs.

    Bowers & Wilkins PX Noise-Cancelling Over-ears

My Pixel XL was using Apt-X for my momentum with Oreo, and now with the PX shows Apt-X HD. Have a look under developer options -> 'bluetooth audio codec'. It should be set to 'use system selection' but will display what's currently being used

    Bowers & Wilkins PX Noise-Cancelling Over-ears

Hm, I don't get any notifcation but, actually, even with the bluetooth still showing as connected the media volume no longer shows the bluetooth logo. If I unplug USB-C while the volume controls are open, it switches to the bluetooth media volume and after a brief bit of silence while it...

That was my first thought too, they just didn't sound right. Now, after about 8hours of pink noise and about 4 hours of normal use they sound better.

Yep, all i did was disconnect the bluetooth via the notification dropdown, started some music and it still came through. Mine's an XL too

Picked mined up yesterday, here's some comparisons with the Sennheiser M2 Wireless for anyone else thinking of upgrading Earcups are slightly bigger, i had to do more fiddling with the M2s to get comfortable. These I just put on and go. There's also no discomfort for me while wearing glasses...

    Bowers & Wilkins PX Noise-Cancelling Over-ears

That might explain why they're out of stock on their own website. I've ended up ordering from John Lewis so I can still easily return if I don't like them, but by the sounds of the more recent posts and reviews, I won't need to. They'll be replacing my Sennheiser M2 wireless, every comparison...
