You can find a used Chord Hugo 2 or Mojo 2 and you will be very happy. These phones scale very well so the enjoyment will keep on coming.
Mojo 2 can be bought relatively cheap used, and seems like it has pretty good eq, just wondering if something like rme adi 2 will sound way better than mojo. Sadly they're no places to hear rme where I live

I'm starting to feel like it wasn't the smartest decision to order the HE1000se last Friday. Luckily I have a 14 day right of return.
I bought refurbished hekse for 1699$ few weeks ago and when I saw prices drop to the same level for a new ones I felt the same. At least until I saw that they snip new from China to EU and that adds taxes, so I don't regret buying refurbished any more. When the new version drops the price will be way more than what they ask for hekse right now (which is a true bargain) anyway.

In Europe, the HE1000se costs €2399 including tax. I find the "possible" price drop of the Susvara more interesting. The Susvara currently costs €6699 including tax.

Can anyone recommend a dac/amp for HEKSE up to 1200$ (new or used)? I'm using AU Lab EQ to add a bit of the bass, but would be happy to have EQ option with the new dac/amp as AU Lab screws mic for some of the apps.
Looking for a replacement for my Chord Mojo 1, and currently borrowed Topping A90/D70s from a friend to test.

I'm considering RME ADI-2, Fiio k19, Hifiman EF600/Serenade or even Mojo 2 (yet I don't care about portability at all).
Questyle CMA Fifteen. Superb.

For me, the HE1000se is unrivaled up to 4000€, I think the new Diana DZ is great, but I'm not sure if I would rank it above the HE1000se.

I am going to nab a pair. Procrastinated enough.

It’s currently down to £1629 from £2059, from the HifiMan Store on Amazon UK with Prime, so easy returns. It’s been saying 10 in stock for a while so not exactly flying off the shelves despite the reduced price.

Still a lot of money in these challenging financial times.
