Currently using no perforated pads, might swap to small perforated ones, can get boomy with the mojo2. Still sounds great, but bass fatigue after la long session
No perforations??? Do you mean large?

I tried a pair of leather, non perforated pads I have with my SR2. I thought it sounded boxy, stuffy and boomy.
Exactly. They to breath some.

That type A version looks like the spare version with the perforated holes that are larger. My stock SR3 earpads appear to have much smaller perforated holes.

Jeff.
I have checked it:
Yep, you are right. So these are the spare pads with the less bassy presentation.

If you are located in the USA then maybe iBasso support can help:

Why don’t these get more love? They are really good. They have an excellent and smooth tuning with a very good soundstage. And they’re comfortable as well. These sound like a ZMF Atrium without the gorgeous wood.

9/10 overall for sound, stage, detail retrieval, and comfort

AND

9.8/10 when you factor in price/performance

I’ve never heard anything by Ibasso before, but they have my attention now 👏🏼

They get about 80% play time out of all my headphones. The issue?? They DON"T cost enough. People often buy price and go from there.

Maybe people don't like to admit Ibasso as a headphone they want to be associated with? Couldn't care less what people like. I just want the most I can get with the money I spend. And I only spent £163 on them.
