I splurged for a new m4 iPad and I’m having fun setting it all up. They sure have perfected Bluetooth switching. I pause playing on my MacBook and start playing on the iPad and it switches instantly without needing help from me. In the old days, I had to manually disconnect from one to get it to play on the other. I’m also impressed with the Thunderbolt port. It is super fast with my portable SSD drive, and you don’t have to eject the drive before unplugging it. Photoshop goes really fast with huge documents and the new Apple Pencil Pro is extremely useful for image editing. Rendering out video is super fast too. Hopefully some of the square corners on iOS will be rounded off this Fall. I’m curious to see what they do with the neural engine in the future.
