For sale is a Sonore/Linear Tube Audio optical ethernet system to essentially eliminate RFI and EMI electrical noise riding on your electrical ethernet streaming system. This system works by converting electrical ethernet streams to optical ethernet and then back to electrical ethernet, thereby dropping the electrical noise and purifying the signal as electrical noise cannot be carried on optical signals. The result is a big improvement in streaming sound quality. If you stream music to your system you owe it to yourself to improve the ethernet streaming quality. You just connect an ethernet cable from your system router to the first Sonore Optical Deluxe Module and another ethernet cable from the second Sonore Optical Deluxe Module to your streamer.

The turnkey optical ethernet streaming system consists of:
1. Two Sonore Optical Deluxe Modules: these bi-directional convert the electrical ethernet streaming signal to optical and then back to electrical. List price: 2 x $500
2. Two SFP optical converters, connect the Sonore modules to a fiberoptic cable. List price: 2 x $20
3. Two Finisar upgraded optical converters, replace the above SFP converters above. List price: 2 x $125
4. One 1 m fiberoptic cable. List price $20
5. Two Linear Tube Audio LPS+ Linear Power Supplies. These massive 7 volt 5 amp LPSs power the Sonore Modules described above, a far better-sounding way to power them in place of inferior, noisy switch-mode power supplies. I also tried some other less expensive LPSs and the LTA LPS+ gave a much better sound. Power connectors and power cords (you will certainly want to use your own upgraded power cords) are included. 6. Two Synergistic Research 5 amp slow-blow purple fuses for the LTA LPS+ power supplies. Improved sound over the cheap stock power fuses. List price 2 x $200

So the total list price of the units above is $3180. I am asking $1990 obo.

Full disclosure: One of the Sonore Optical Deluxe Modules failed early on and I sent it back to Small Green Computer who replaced the motherboard and optical converter. It has worked perfectly ever since as has everything else in the turnkey system.

I have all the original boxes and packaging and will ship all in a big outer box to any USA address for my asking price. I will ship to Canada for an additional $90. I have had just way too many problems in shipping overseas and prefer to avoid big headaches involved. My last transaction in sending a package to the UK was a nightmare.

I am selling this system as I bought a far more expensive ethernet noise reduction system and this one is now not being used.
