They are superb true, but 70k invested into other headphone gear is also superb

To be fair one should never make a blind buy if it can be helped. This Hobby is so subjective that you can always walk away impressed or dissappointed

I agree And at least I didn't manage to get these dense notes into other headphones with EQ, while I managed to solve the Pulsars issues with it. Some things can be fixed with EQ, while other traits remain unique to a headphone.

My Pulsar came back with the Ventilation mod applied and 3 of the 5 holes closed. Unfortunately I'm a little sick right now (cold that affects the ears), therefore my listening impressions are of no value at the moment. Nonetheless I was curious and measured the headphones from 2 holes closed...

I was updating to see wether it changed something else as well. Spotify starts to become interesting once they add HiFi quality. Nonetheless please try it ans let me know wether it works on other outputs than USB
