Anyone figured out how to flash custom firmware to unlock full android mode yet? I know it exist for the SP1000M and SP2000 but I don't see anything yet for the newer devices from A&K.

It looks neat, I'm just using a Furman Power Conditioner at the moment but I'm sure a full linear power supply would bring far better improvements. I'm guessing the FiiO PL50 doesn't come with a DC cable right? If so, which DC cable do you use with your R9?

Nevermind..... just finished reading @Ichos review on the R9 and it states that there are no line input options on the device.

Does the R9 have a line in input? I'm trying to figure out how to use line out from my DX320 AMP12 module (which is 4.4mm line out) and feed it line in into my R9.

Now I have never used 4.4mm line out before, so I feed a short 4.4mm interconnect cable from AMP12 into my Fiio R9's 4.4mm headphone out? Or does my Fiio R9 need a specific 4.4mm line in socket? Not sure how any of this works, since I have never used line out before.

Here is a stupid question, what's the difference between the coaxial output (with the provided coaxial cable by iBasso) and the 4.4mm line out output of AMP12 module for the DX320? Are they essentially the same except that the one from the AMP12 is balanced line out?

I've burned in the R9 for over 24 hours now, so far its been great. At first listen the tuning was a bit lean and harsh but after I let the unit playing for 24 hours I can make out changes in the bass, soundstage and the upper mids peak seems to have cooled down. I leave the player on DSD...

Nevermind, I tried to reinstall the FiiO DAC Drivers today for the 10th time and it magically worked for me this time. FiiO Control Panel now shows the R9 and Audirvana now has the ASIO FiiO Drivers detected! Thanks!
