I've gotta confess that I do cables more for aesthetics and ergonomics, but I'd say they pair well together sonically. Perhaps it's placebo but they sound great together.

I’ve noticed that same issue with my MacBook Pro. By default the wall adapter isn’t grounded and it only buzzes for me when it’s plugged in. Go off the battery alone and the buzzing goes away.

Thanks for the info. I didn’t notice the volume slider becoming active, but that did obviously make a difference. Even pushing the volume to 100% doesn’t really fix it. Ultimately I can’t stand the volume difference and will leave PEQ off and MQA on. Tune with ear tips instead…

Starting off my 2024 with a big upgrade. Just picked up a universal pair of the Radon 6 and the new FiiO Q15. Loving them so far.

Anyone having issues connecting to an iPhone via USB? I’ve tried a number of cables, phone mode is on, and I’ve tried both USB modes. No luck. USB connection works to a Mac however.

Woudn’t DAC -> Amp stages be the same, only difference being how signal gets there? USB will have better quality data over BT, if you can notice a difference.
