With R6P2 you could do all plugins and cancel out the DRX. The dap is already colored. I thought you were talking about R8ii. Or you can add DRX but keep modifying the bass and mids til it sounds good.

I’m not sure you need to move the files from download to plugins just use the convolution to choose the file you want let’s say wide make it the last plugin to be added, you will still have the effect of the sound.

After getting the R8ii literally all of my dongles sound awful I can’t deal with their distortion and the sound not as resolving.

With Radon 6, and Scarlet mini it’s an easy to pick up the difference between R8ii and R6P2.

Yea man I have watched the review and I was like there is no way they sound the same. I can hear a difference between R8ii and R6P2. I mean it also depends on the iems or gear he used.

What about Hiby R6P2? I also have couple dongles like Ibasso DC04 pro,RU7,Questyle M15, Shanling UA5. Actually these days I like my daps more than using the dongles, the sound is more mature to me.

Guys I think almost every iem will sound good with the R8ii as it neutral. It sounds good with all of iems. Can’t wait to try it with Volür and XE6 in CanJam London.

True you can make it work but the dap is very heavy I wouldn’t recommend even running with a dongle now imagine running with R6P2 or the R8ii. R8ii is heavy to hold in one hand and trust me I lift weights and I’m a big guy but still I don’t think it’s a good idea to move around with it unless...

Not friendly at all it’s heavy and difficult to use on the go. You run in an issue you may drop it. You can carry it in them small hand bags and use it in an airplane or Work desk but not while moving around.

Pretty sure that you going to like it. Try to mess with the plugins like DRX10 Dynamics and the sound field.

How does the RS8 sound compared to the R8ii and which one you like more ?

Should’ve gotten the R6P2 if that’s the only iem you got. IMHO the R8ii deserves a more than one iem and also high end iems but good luck I hope you like that pairing.
