You should reformat and copy to SD card using SP3000.Hey people,
is it normal for the SP3k to be stuck in "scanning media" when a new SD card is inserted? And if so how long should it take.
I'm using a 512GB Samsung Pro Plus. Tried to format it with the DAP and also factory reset the DAP. I can navigate through the folders but seems like the indexing is never ending and the card is not even half full...
The card works perfectly and I've also successfully tried it with other DAPs....

Problem is that with Mac you need to use Android File Transfer, which miserably fails veeeery often...You should reformat and copy to SD card using SP3000.
You need to overcome this problem. No way out.Problem is that with Mac you need to use Android File Transfer, which miserably fails veeeery often...
When upgrading to SP3000, I re use the card (1T) from Sp2k, it work flawlessly but sometime, the DAP not responding for unknow reason, reformat the card solve this issue.
Android File Transfer is way too basic. For Mac users, I would recommend using Commander One PRO, which makes file transfer from Mac to DAP much easier.Problem is that with Mac you need to use Android File Transfer, which miserably fails veeeery often...

For me straight to DAP to internal memory or card when not using the A&K Ripper. Commander One will see your DAP.Straight to dap or just to SD taken out of the DAP?

Loved my Stellia with Sp3000 (4.4mm) since day one. I think I'm ready to go open back hp now.
For those who have the Utopia, are you happy with the Sp3000?

Very happy with my Utopia 2022/SP3000 partnership. When I add the PA10 it also works well with the ZMF Caldera. If I didn’t already have the Utopia I would also look at the AA Composer and the Erzetich Charybdis, both of which are available to audition at my reasonably local dealer.Loved my Stellia with Sp3000 (4.4mm) since day one. Question for the group. I've only used DAPs as my source/DAC since joining the hobby. In fact, I've never listened to headphones through a standalone DAC, let alone a a 5 to 10K standalone DAC. I've had the SP3000 for almost a year and really haven't felt the itch to go above and beyond. I've been satisfied experimenting with different headphones and amps. Depending on the amp/headphone at issue, there have been times where I felt I could use a little more headroom and pondered whether upping the source/DAC portion of the chain would solve for that issue. Power requirements notwithstanding, how much does a great standalone DAC improve technicalities like soundstage, detail retrieval, and instrument separation relative to the SP3000? Assume a situation where you're able to drive your headphones with the SP1000 volume at 90 and the amp knob turned to 12 o'clock.
Thanks all!
