Bang & Olufsen BeoPlay H8 (Wireless Noise Cancelling On-Ear Headphones)

BeoPlay said constant dropouts are not normal and should be returned, im gonna try returning mine.. they've done some funky things when on a plane, one time they had this extremely loud pop and just turned off. Another time when the plane was taking off the noise canceling couldn't keep up so...

I felt like the bass seemed more present with the NC on, but that may be because other frequencies are being affected by the NC.

These are much more comfortable than the Vmoda xs, so worth the trial on that front. The M2w had a more neutral and slightly warm sound sig, the BO have a slight treble and bass boost but being really annoyed by treble boosts and sibilance, I had no problem with the BO and actually enjoyed the...

Bang & Olufsen BeoPlay H8 (Wireless Noise Cancelling On-Ear Headphones)

I thought this was in the same league as the M2 personally, I also thought it was more comfortable even though it was a on ear headphone and typically I can't stand on ear headphones as I have rather large ears and a larger than normal head. I want to note, I didnt think this was tight fitting...

Bang & Olufsen BeoPlay H8 (Wireless Noise Cancelling On-Ear Headphones)

Makes me wonder if Giogio has the right idea.. if something is painful / uncomfortable its usually the body's biological mechanism stimulating avoidance (i do a lot of research and im in the health field so I always think of cause-and-effect); of course arguments against that too, like muscle...

Bang & Olufsen BeoPlay H8 (Wireless Noise Cancelling On-Ear Headphones)

Bose has the best noise canceling in the business from the headphones I have tried (beats, Zik, Momentum, B&O). Something that bothered me a lot with Bose though was that they created a uncomfortable amount of pressure on my ears when the ANC was active.. I couldn't keep them on for more than 5...

Bang & Olufsen BeoPlay H8 (Wireless Noise Cancelling On-Ear Headphones)

the over ears are similar to the on ear in terms of ANC, since they are over ear they naturally prevent more sound from entering the headphone, but they are huge in comparison to the on ear and the H8. I personally wasnt a fan for portable use and returned them - but they are a excellent...

Bang & Olufsen BeoPlay H8 (Wireless Noise Cancelling On-Ear Headphones)

I have a long history with headphones and like/owned many different brands across the space, the B&O work for me for the purpose I wanted them for, im not endorsing them as the best thing ever, but they are the best headphone based on the ones I was considering on buying from the short list I...

Bang & Olufsen BeoPlay H8 (Wireless Noise Cancelling On-Ear Headphones)

This is what I dont get.. I have tried all my music, lots of bass heavy electronic and hip hop.. I dont get distortion - selecting some random low bitrate track from youtube and stating it causes distortion is not a summation of a general issue with the headphone - its an issue with the track...

Bang & Olufsen BeoPlay H8 (Wireless Noise Cancelling On-Ear Headphones)

Based on your criteria (which was similar to mine when looking for a wireless headphone) I think the H8 is a good buy. Your only other options for a quality built headphone thats not all plastic and huge is the on ear sennheiser momentum wireless, but like I've said before, I think the H8 sounds...

Bang & Olufsen BeoPlay H8 (Wireless Noise Cancelling On-Ear Headphones)

So yea, the Sennheiser I felt had more dropouts / only slightly.. but on the plus side, the always on ANC is barely noticeable with the M2, its nothing like the H8 ANC which is rather noticeable when on (so i dont think it is something that will bother you).   IMO, I feel like the H8 is giving...

They are readily available at many retailers in the US, I wonder if they are just saying that because they want to get to the bottom of this problem.. if it is widespread I figure they would want to limit units sold until the resolve the issue,

I can't attest to the sound comparison, but this is the most comfortable on ear headphone I have worn and I generally can't stand on ears because of my large'ish head and ears.. so I wouldn't make that a large concern if the sound is something you're looking for.

Bang & Olufsen BeoPlay H8 (Wireless Noise Cancelling On-Ear Headphones)

In terms of bluetooth stability I want to point out that Sennheiser flagship bluetooth headphone the Momentum Wireless on ear and over ear have the same issues as the H8, I would argue that they are even more sensitive to dropouts. I imagine if this was also an issue with for example Beats...

Bang & Olufsen BeoPlay H8 (Wireless Noise Cancelling On-Ear Headphones)

H8 more dynamic, sparkle in the treble and deeper bass. Momentum wireless neutral with warmer treble, still excellent bass - more midrange detail and less ANC hiss. H8 is more compact, comfortable, with better controls and lighter (IMO looks better on and off head).    With wireless and ANC...
