    Best IEM tips?

Yup, happens to me on my right cuz of my 2nd bend being at a particular angle. Also I noticed the occlusion effect of well-sealed eartips is stronger on my right side and causes a resonance bump at around 90 Hz. The solution is Qudelix 5k or any other EQ that can do individual L/R correction...

    Bass Iems

Honestly, this is the best advice. EQ is a basshead's best friend. The Truthear Zero Red also works for this due to low distortion. As a Qudelix 5k shill, I recommend the Qudelix 5k to complement either of these. Full parametric EQ, individual L/R adjustments, 10 bands...set a low shelf at 100...

If you want a BASSHEAD IEM, also look at the HBB Hades

Have any of you found a earphone that you consider to be perfect?

Moondrop Variations gets pretty close. It's maybe the only IEM in my collection I wouldn't be opposed to listening to without EQ.

    Best IEM tips?

I'm the opposite. For me, foam tips tend to grip better, shift less once in place, smooth out ear length resonances, block out more noise, and reduce the occlusion effect. The downsides are that they need to be replaced more often and they irritate the ear canals after extended use. For anyone...

    Best IEM tips?

Yes,it could have to do with the iem design, and it could also be something to do with the shape of your ears. Maybe the narrow bore tips seal better for you. It's also possible that the tips themselves are unique in that respect

Yes, Qudelix 5k is great. But... ...I know from extensive tip rolling that the right fit would probably solve a lot (but not all) of the issue. A right fit that I haven't been successful in finding.

The Official 64 Audio Thread | apex & tia Technologies

Ok guys, I need your help, and a place for commiseration. I've had my Tia Trios for maybe two years now and I love almost everything about them. Except I have had problems ever since I started using them with something that sounds like a persistent channel imbalance of around 2 dB at 90Hz and...

    Best IEM tips?

This sounds like a medical issue to me. I'd consult a doctor. Your ear system has a lot of influence on your balance and connects to your throat and nose; I wouldn't be surprised if you're stimulating nerves in your ear canal that trigger your gag reflex. I'm not sure if it's possible but it...

I got mine off amazon, but I'd definitely buy two pairs to make sure you get a "good" one because of unit variation.
