Honestly, this is the best advice. EQ is a basshead's best friend. The Truthear Zero Red also works for this due to low distortion. As a Qudelix 5k shill, I recommend the Qudelix 5k to complement either of these. Full parametric EQ, individual L/R adjustments, 10 bands...set a low shelf at 100...

If you want a BASSHEAD IEM, also look at the HBB Hades :wink:

Moondrop Variations gets pretty close. It's maybe the only IEM in my collection I wouldn't be opposed to listening to without EQ.

I'm the opposite. For me, foam tips tend to grip better, shift less once in place, smooth out ear length resonances, block out more noise, and reduce the occlusion effect. The downsides are that they need to be replaced more often and they irritate the ear canals after extended use. For anyone...

Yes,it could have to do with the iem design, and it could also be something to do with the shape of your ears. Maybe the narrow bore tips seal better for you. It's also possible that the tips themselves are unique in that respect
