Definitely in no way the seller's fault or responsibility for the customs of a certain country. But in no way the buyers fault either and that's where it's frustrating. Contact customs to see what issue is and how it can be resolved. I absolutely feel for you though!!!

Yes, detail and clarity are there in spades with the mesh removed for me. Don’t think I’ll go back to using mesh. Awesome cans!!!

I had the caldera on loan for a week and loved them but wouldn’t personally pay that money for them (everyone different I know). I bought the vos without hearing them after a recommendation from someone I trust very much, and prefer them to the calderas. They are the perfect compliment to my hek...

Yes agree - synergy is a huge factor, although I haven't found any amp that they didn't sound great on. Even my Topping G5 makes them sing!!. Don't get me wrong, I loved these with the burst mesh but since I removed it, I'm loving them even more!!!

100% agree with mesh removal. Treble and detail/clarity for me (yes I do like/need treble as i have 53 yr old ears) is improved exponentially. I LOVE my Verite Opens but Bokeh without mesh are amazingly good, especially for the price!!

I did the same as you and the seam is at the top. As Zach said, it doesn't matter. As long as the thick part is behind your ear.
