I have a Mac mini with Roon and JRiver Media Center.

When I think of heaven, I think of Mscaler -> Chord DAVE -> WA33.... plus my choice of LCD-5, Susvara, and Abyss... I can dream can't I?

Honestly many amps will work well, I am very happy with my Chord Hugo TT 2/Mscaler combo. But even the Hugo 2 drives it extremely well, which is useful for road trips.

Anyone what this headstand is? I'd love to know its dimensions.

Any thoughts on pairing with the LCD-i4? With the WA8 it's phenomenal, but it's quite the brick to carry. I don't know how much I should worry about hiss or if the LCD-i4 is "too sensitive" for it (especially given that the WA8 is heavenly with the LCD-i4).

How do I import AutoEQ text files into UAPP? I see this was asked before but I didn't see an answer.

Anyone try their i4 with the Woo Audio tube mini? I'm looking for something similar to the WA8 in terms of sound, but actually portable.

How did you get those custom tips?

If you find yourself traveling with your Layla and you don't have the usual wax removal tool available... What do you use to clean out the wax in the bores? I've yet to find anything thin and sturdy enough. Any ideas?

My one word review: Wow! Does anyone use EQ with them? Not that they need it...

Possibly; I was able to get the amp replaced because it was faulty about a year or two ago. I'd contact the dealer that sold you the unit, or Astell & Kern directly.

This isn't true, the Hugo 2 has a sound signature and so does every amp/DAC out there, and just like any amp/DAC you can add software EQ to suite your taste. There's nothing unique about the Hugo 2 here.

Come to think of it, I had my LCD-4 for years, always on the same Woo Audio stand that now hangs my LCD-5, and never noticed a problem. So hopefully you're right.
