Summit-Fi Random Thoughts
I think I could live with the TCs only. I have the Imannis on order, as I like ribbons, but the bass better be on point. The Valk is great, aside from the sub bass issue. I just want the perfect pair of headphones, but it's probably not possible. The TCs are the closest thing. Also, I'm...- Ciggavelli

Summit-Fi Random Thoughts
Thanks man. I am considering speakers other than my K50s. It's just my space is not well suited for them, but my room is. I am strongly considering getting better speakers. Even my Kefs are better than most of my headphones, and those are "cheap" speakers. Speakers are definitely the way to...- Ciggavelli

Summit-Fi Random Thoughts
Nobody likes my music. The one girl I found that did, got arrested and then said she couldn't be in a relationship with me anymore because of that. It's very hard to find a girl that likes funeral doom and black metal. It's very hard to find a satanic girl. I'm a one person type of guy. I...- Ciggavelli

So my girl dropped me, saying I was too anxious. She couldn't get over the anxiety attack, which was related to alcohol withdrawal. If she knew it was alcohol withdrawal she woulda dumped me too. I was screwed either way. Alcohol got me the girl, and then alcohol made me lose the girl. It...- Ciggavelli

HiFiMan Susvara
For $8k, the new pair of TOTL cans from Hifiman better be astounding. I hate that $8k is becoming the new standard for TOTL cans. Sh!t is really getting out of hand. But, it makes sense from a business perspective. If the new Hifiman really is better than the Sus, then it should cost more...- Ciggavelli

I was listening to some old Kyuss, stoned and drunk. The Headspace is a good amp. I'm probably gonna buy as a transition amp, until I get something better. But what occurred to me, was as audiophiles, we really only care about small changes. Like is this Headspace really that much different...- Ciggavelli

The Headspace sounds better with rap than it does metal, but it's still very good with metal. I need to do more testing.- Ciggavelli

It's very good. I need to A/B against the WA33 EE JPS more, but the Head Space is blacker with better bass, the WA33 has better 3D sound. The Head Space sounds better with the TCs than the Sus, but I need more experimentation still. I'll try both out for the next week- Ciggavelli

Summit-Fi Random Thoughts
If Hifiman releases a new pair of TOTL headphones, and it's not the Sus 2 (or so I've come to understand), what can they do? TC-level bass in a traditional wearing style, easier to drive, a tad more resolution? What else can they do? They are already fast, they already have good bass (but not...- Ciggavelli

So rumors are swirling about a new Hifiman TOTL pair of cans. Immanis level pricing. I'm very intriqued. Can they top the Sus...we'll see....- Ciggavelli

I'm not sure, but I will try to look into it. Just the bass boost from this amp is more than with the CFA3. It's also quieter, soundfloor-wise. I don't know why. I haven't even tried a preamp with it. It's just a good sounding amp. I'm real impressed, and for the price, I'm gonna be a...- Ciggavelli

I had it for a couple months while my WA33 EE JPS was being built. On the stock tube, I didn't like it. It sounded muddy with very fast passages. Apparently, that can be fixed with another tube, but I don't know. I liked the WA33 better. 🤷♂️- Ciggavelli
