Yes indeed. Also, LX became more accepted over time as well.

I think Raven will be a mid to late largely adopted set and will continue to prevail through its life cycle. Seems to be an EE trend.

I’ve just been using the iFi GoBlu for traveling with Raven. It’s a nice sounding little setup.

I had a similar issue not with Raven, rather 64 Audio Nio. Turned out to be a bad connector that eventually came all the way out. Sounds like it’s either loose at the socket or connections inside are bad.

Honestly, no. I’m done with those price ranges for IEM’s. The Novus is great in the ways you are weighing compared to Raven but not great enough to justify moving the needle for me. Raven is perfect for me and there’s no need for me to try and chase the 1%.

Yea, these new Sonion drivers are pretty compact. Basically a BA size and they put out a very perceivable effect.

It definitely has improvement worth paying for if you favor them. I assume the vast majority of people will favor the Triton for its performance, especially at the price. Of course there will be some here and there who prefer the LX. I ran them A/B against my LX and it was clear what...

As far as Triton vs LX, vocals have a separation and clarity boost that is noticeable and welcomed. There is also more air / extension in the treble. If Triton is released at the alleged price heard through the grapevine, it’s going be a whole lot of value per dollar.

Based on my testing of Raven vs Novus the BC implementation offers a different presentation. The Sonion equipped Novus BC is a broader, more transparent addition to the headspace imaging. Raven is a more dense, circular sound field. From what I understand, regardless of driver, these sound...

I think they are and as @Deezel177 mentioned, they eliminate many engineering issues based on ease of application and space savings. Sound wise they seem a bit more nimble and spacious with headspace audio projection.

Thank you. Yes, it’s the abalone. The configurator does it no justice, I agree. The only thing I can say about custom vs universal is that you might get an improvement in sound. This is because you’re eliminating all the variables with tip size, bore size, seals, etc. If the fit is right...

There were a few units that had strength issues at the two pin connector causing them to break under moderate pressure. Others had swirl marks in the faceplate finish that the team at EE found unacceptable. This prompted a refinishing design from mirrors to satin. These issues delayed a smooth...
