No need to upsample anything to 48KHz. The main thing is to downsample everything to 48KHz. But on Windows, if you use Direct Sound, then you don't have to worry about resampling, it will be done through Direct Sound.

I am not sure what's going on, but Koss assured me that the CSR you spoke to was misinformed and they are not selling extension cables. And they are not $20 even if they did sell them. Oh well...Maybe I should have someone try an actually order one and see what happens.
