Hi would you know how to use the balanced output on my amp headphone. It's 4.4 out to 3.5 female on the Sundara cups?

First listen this evening so not had much time with different music types, but just listened to 'metronomy forever' which I'd never heard all the way through and it was unlike any other listening experience I've ever had before. Very pleasurable. Will update when I've had more time with it..

My Cambridge audio cd broke so I found this Arcam CD73 on eBay for £70 and a ifi zen can for £75. I ordered the Sundara closed back and found I would need to EQ them to get them to sound how I like, so got the Sundara for £190 on eBay. They are a big improvement than the closed back to my ears...

How do you disconnect the tone control? And why does it improve it so much?

Would you pair the JDS atom or the Btech with the brio 3? And I'm curious to know why you thought tone control would be good for me turntable playback ?
