    Multi-IEM Review - 352 IEMs compared (Pump Audio Earphones added 04/03/16 p. 1106)

I've been working out with the SE215's for some time now and they're great. Great for blocking out noise but especially if you have foam tips, if you workout with someone then you'll struggle to hear them even with music off. However for sweat resistance and how well they stay in while running...

    Multi-IEM Review - 352 IEMs compared (Pump Audio Earphones added 04/03/16 p. 1106)

I am mostly into Rock. The things I'm looking for in my next pair of IEM's is build quality/ergonomics (highest priority) and instrument separation (is that called imaging, not sure on the terms). I have about 200$ to spend and I'm coming from the RE-400's, which I was worried about the build...

    Multi-IEM Review - 352 IEMs compared (Pump Audio Earphones added 04/03/16 p. 1106)

Shure earphones are excellent for build and for fit (top notch). The SE215's aren't anywhere near neutral though, although when you're really running hard don't really seem like something I would want. The extra bit of low end is helpful, especially for motivation. The 215's are what I use and...

    [REVIEW] Shure SE215

The tips are incredibly difficult to pull off. Apparently freezing them for a night makes them easier to pull off but I can't imagine that's good for the electronics. I think the isolation on these is top notch. I just had them on a plane ride and didn't realize we were taking off until we...

    [REVIEW] Shure SE215

Personally, I struggle with the audiophile descriptions of sound. Tight bass? I doubt it'd sound tight compared to any BA or high end dynamic. I think with these you go for quantity rather than quality at this price point. From what I understand from reviews, the 425's aren't bass/warmth...

    [REVIEW] Shure SE215

TRapz, I'm personally a fan of the SE215's. Sonically, they're good. Great is pushing it, but good for what I like. I'm into rock and metal and they work fine, guitars are where I want them to be. Comparing it to a more balanced headphone like my old RE400's and my brother's UE600's, the bass...

    [REVIEW] Shure SE215

No, I should probably do that before I get back to you on that.   I hope I don't have to warranty them, I brought them to Norway from the US and don't go back to the US for several months.

    [REVIEW] Shure SE215

My new SE215 occasionally cuts out when the cable connector is turned the wrong way. Is there any way to fix the cable permanently/semi-permanently to the earphones themselves? I'm fine with losing flexibility in fit adjustment: I plan on keeping them the way they are set right now.

    Multi-IEM Review - 352 IEMs compared (Pump Audio Earphones added 04/03/16 p. 1106)

Hey Joker, You ranked the RHA MA750 as an 8.9 in sound and the Shure SE215 an 8. Yet, on theheadphonelist (on the SE215's review comments), you mentioned that the MA750 can't be seen as a straight upgrade to the SE215's. Is the difference that massive in sound?

    Hifiman IEM's: RE-400 and RE-600

Hello all RE-400 owners,   I've got a question about those little replacement filters. How should I replace it? I got like 10 or so but have no idea how to use them. Considering mine have a bit of earwax on them because I don't regularly clean them, I figured it might be time to replace it.  ...

With an entry level pair of IEM's, how noticeably better (if at all) will the X1 be compared to similarly priced DAP's such as the C3 and the iPod Nano 7G?

Grey looks wonderful. It's probably the best option for the general crowd, although maybe a black option might be intriguing. Thumbs up, James!

Westerville Ohio meet impressions and pictures thread

I was just in Westerville yesterday... and the day before... at the Watering Hole, happily sitting there, listening to my very low-fi system, wondering what else is out there in the world of audio...   And then I see this.   :(

    Multi-IEM Review - 352 IEMs compared (Pump Audio Earphones added 04/03/16 p. 1106)

Clearhead, I fully understand that you're excited by these IEM's and if they are as amazing as you say they are (HD800-amazing), then you deserve to be. However, it seems that you're almost trying to sell everyone the product. I can't help but get the feeling that this is a sort of advertising...

Please help me with my survey (about storage)

Wow, you guys/girls seriously have loads and loads of media. I don't have any videos and my music is about two-thirds average bit-rate (192kb/s) and one third ALAC and it comfortably fits on my 16GB iPod. I guess I'm just more intimate with my "small" number (800 some) of songs.
