I am one of the few that say 1.2 is better than 1.3. I have tried upgrade/downgrade 3x to confirm this. I only use Tidal. 1.2 + Tidal on Uapp Pro (bit perfect on) is best. I think those who experience a difference between 1.3 and 1.2 is because they use P mode / Tidal / low volume listening...

The reason I don't like to use amp is I like portability. I can keep my ipod in my pocket and listen while walking in the house, and walk in the garden at night (so people don't notice my headphone)... But then again, I have people looking at my RS-1 thinking that my grandpa left me those phones...
