At 50 ohms and 90db/mw, could the Alpha Dogs be an example of "low impedance cans that requiere high current"? What does that even mean?

Thanks! As i see, the efficiency of the Alpha dogs is 90dB/mW. IMO, they're like 30% hungrier than Sundaras and 50% hungrier than hd800 and hd660s...
