Unique Melody Remold Impressions Thread
Haven't had to come to Head-Fi for years now after being finally satisfied with the purchase of my Miracles. I am not sure if anyone has seen this yet but I figured I would cross post it. Quote: And from my readings it is likely to be released along side a mid-tier solid state headphone amp (or the same dimensions) in Q1.- Hero Kid

For those of you based in Australia not yet aware i-Enjoy now has stock of the Bifrost. Prices for the non-USB model is $450 and with USB it is $550. From what I can gather it is first in best served so if you have been waiting don't dally!- Hero Kid

I would not worry about variations. Those graphs are for illustration purposes only, to give you a warm fuzzy feeling that they have been tested and to reassure you that you are buying a quality product (in my opinion at least). Differences are easily explained by variations in placement when...- Hero Kid

does Sansa CLIP have a true line out?
Quote: Listen to it and decide for yourself. An amp can certainly change the sound (for better and worse). Having an amp fed from a true LO is preferable, but it does not mean double amping is by default a sin.- Hero Kid

Mac OS X Music Players - alternatives to iTunes
Quote: Not my post but here we go: Here are some of the non-snake-oil reasons you asked for: 1. Automatic sample rate switching (as you noted). Briefly, iTunes has to be closed, Audio MIDI reset, and iTunes then reopened in order to play a track with a different sample frequency...- Hero Kid
