Flawless over wifi as a roon client for me.

Delighted with my Element M and it's a superb match with my Oppo PM1 planars. Like above, totally flawless with Roon.

This has irked me for ages even though performance wasn't effected at all. Will have to look and see if I can update my Element M too.

I’d really like one of these units for my office/studio. I record a lot of voice over, Will this accept an XLR/TRS out from my mic preamp and convert to digital? The rack mount RME fire face units look like major overkill for my needs with several inputs and outputs.

Could be the mix, could be your headphones, could be your hearing or simply could be that it wasn't captured well at the time. Generally dialogue will sit in a range of frequencies so it might be that a graphic equaliser (hardware or software) might help you isolate dialogue in certain scenes...
