Same here I had my LEO II terminated to RCX only to find out the FIR cable beat it. The 4.4 out on the N8 for the M5's is much better IMHO. More headspace and better dynamics when compared to the 3.5- John2e

Roon. What is it and why do I want it ?
I have a 2tB HD music collection and a headphone and speaker system in the living room. I think the Roon is built into the server and my speaker system has a decent dac.- John2e

Any predictions on when Sony's next flagship DAP will be available
I only use it from the SD card. The SQ is all I am after UI is second. Not streaming anything. I use the Hibby Remote . N8 is quite temperamental and I could see someone not getting along with it. But I have been married for 24 years so I am used to temperamental outbursts :astonished: ...- John2e

sp2000 has 2.5 bal correct ? DAP used on the go so 2.5 is unacceptable regardless of SQ- John2e

Roon. What is it and why do I want it ?
Hi, I have a LapizatOr komputer that needs servicing. Unit is being sent back to Poland and will have ROON installed. I am using the server as such; USB to my Headphone DAC and SPIDF to my main systems DAC. Server had built in wifi network. Will I need to buy anything additional ? Thanks- John2e
