Philips A5-PRO "Armin Van Buuren Collaboration" (Owners and impressions)

Oh great, will have to do that once they are fully unusable. Thanks a lot for a great guide. Still recommending the same pads that are listed in that post or found any better options by any chance? Also wondering how do they compare on sound isolation, any changes over the original ones...

Philips A5-PRO "Armin Van Buuren Collaboration" (Owners and impressions)

Anyone selling the PCU90 or 80 pads? I use mine for DJ'ing and love them but too bad Philips discontinued them. Willing to buy a whole new pair if anyone on here is selling. No luck finding any on sale in my area (Melbourne, AU)

Zero Audio - ZH-DX200 Carbo Tenore | ZH-DX210 Carbo Basso (Carbon & Aluminium IEM) thread

Great thanks for that. I'll definitely do it. You got a pic of it just to make sure I know what you mean? I think I might also put some heatshrinks on the cable in places that could use some support. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk

thanks for that, sounds fair. I might have to go with tenore's they seem to be more versatile. Any known "hacks" to improve their durability?

Zero Audio - ZH-DX200 Carbo Tenore | ZH-DX210 Carbo Basso (Carbon & Aluminium IEM) thread

I'm torn between the two, I listen to lots of different genres but drum and bass being the main one. Should I just go with basso for all the sub-bass? How do basso's do as an overall IEM for every genres, neutral enough or bit colored?

    VSonic VSD1/VSD1S Reviews/Impression Thread

I've reading around this post for a while. These seem to be liked by people that also like Tenores, everything Ive read about their sound, sounds perfect for my taste. Except that apparently tenores just dont last due to thin cables etc. Im not a big IEMs person but need something that can be...

[2021 Update] Venture Electronics (VE) Monk V2, Monk Plus & Monk Go: a $5 earbud that taking the world by storm!!!

Well I finally got my first set of monk plus. Just wanted to share that Im amazed, well over 5$ of sound in them! Didn't expect them to be that capable in low frequencies (especially for an earbud), I eq'd them to add a couple extra decibels in te sub-bass range and it handle even bass heavy...

@moedawg140 thank you, good to hear your opinion helps out a lot. I think I'll pass on these. Luckily there's a shop nearby that specifies in headphones, will have to go and visit it to test a few sets out. I'm mainly a user of regular speakers/monitors or over-ear headphones, with close to no...

Great review! How well do they handle sub-bass frequencies? Their lows is the only thing that I'm worried about and how they would handle stuff like neurofunk drum&bass which sounds best with flat sounding speakers/headphones but ones that are still very capable in the lows when needed. Thanks...

Hey, anyone who can recommend me a cheap iem that has a neutral sound but is still very capable (when needed) in the lower frequencies/sub-bass? Thanks in advance

World First! Massdrop x HiFIMAN Collaboration Announcement

So anyone that had the chance to try the RE-00 or even the ones they're based of? I don't know a lot about IEMs, looking for some low cost ones that I can have with me 24/7, as for something that is used more outside with background noises involved etc. I prefer a little bit more bass, to suit...

Thanks for that, do you think they would suit some drum&bass music? Don't know what to expect from earbuds and their capabilities in low fqs.

Hey,   Never had proper earbuds and the opinions about these at 5 bucks are pretty amazing. They're 64ohm so Im curious if my nexus 5 would be enough and how they suit music that needs a bit more bass.
