It's rather silly to judge and then slam a hp only because they have the "pro" word in their name. Deal with it.

Sennheiser HD 300 Pro Review and Impressions Thread (HD 250 Linear Revival )

I own the headphone. The 300 pro have nothing wrong if you like a V shaped sound (which even newbiews know they have). In fact, they have the most excellent V shaped sound I've heard, and I've tried many hps. If you don't like a V shaped sound, fine: you should have stayed away from them; but to...

I think they really sound great just as they are, oput of the box.

This review is totally wrong. I'm afraid you confused the headphones sound with your personal taste.

Great review it isn't, sorry. With all due respect, there's something wrong with the ears of this dude, LOL. He's got them all wrong.

No, not for professional use, but I've tried a number of closed-backs and none came close to the perfect balance of entertaining sound these have. And unless you're a technician, it should all be about entertainment.

No. And the Senn are better in every way. If it's excellent bass you're after, you won't be disappointed.

Sennheiser HD 300 Pro Review and Impressions Thread (HD 250 Linear Revival )

I own both of them and differences are rather subtle. You might even say the Tygr are the open version of the HD300, but the latter actually have some added brilliance in the high range, and very very slightly better bass. The Tygr however, although having roughly the same perceived sound curve...

One year on, using them very often alongside my superb TYGR300R and can't get tired of their sound. I need nothing else.

I paid 110 euro for these, from Thomann' warehouse deals. Best buy ever for a headphone. At that price, they beat the DT700 X. and the tuning shape of the TYGR is awesome.

I believe you mistake assertiveness for trolling (or, worse, insulting speech). By the way, the answers I got to my mini-review were basically "you should use eq and stop complaining". Anywae, thank you for the exchange.

So, according to you, any thread on HPs should be made up only by enthusiastic posts and comments, without anyone arguing about the faults/defects of a HP. Interesting, and above all very usfeful to anyone who's wondering if they should buy that HP or no. Clever. :beerchug:

Because obviously I thought they would be better. How could have I been able to say they are not good if I didn't try them? Or is it a crime here to dissent from the mainstream? Chill out, guys. :dt880smile:

    Sony MDR-1AM2 - Impressions Thread

I'm sorry. Clean on the bass is not, not by far. The D700X are clean on the bass, the Senn HD300 are. The 1AM2 are not. That is if you know the meaning of "clear". The Sony are muddy and redundant, period. And if I have to go thru several bands of eq, then I'm better off with a different HP...

Well, l just tried them with a stereo amp and my impression is just the same. I need them to be more versatile than that.
