For what it’s worth I use a cable from Audiophile Ninja that sounds as good to me as OFC. I found the OFC to be a bit stiff and cumbersome.

Auteur with classical music is a match made in heaven. The mids are everything.

Merason Frerot DAC with either Auteur or AC. I wonder if this amp might pair better with Bifrost 2. That’s my next experiment. Listening now, my impression is this doesn’t have the resolution or cleanliness of my Archel 3, and I can approximate the tonality of it with the Archel’s tone...

I’ll have to try the A20 again. Didn’t hear anything special with it.

What’s funny is I use my Auteurs for almost exclusively orchestral music, and my Atrium Closed for everything else. That said, Auteur was my only pair of headphones for a long time and was excellent with all types of music.

Glad to see Geshelli getting love. The Archel 3 Pro has dual SS2590 and it is fantastic. Has to be one the highest value amplifiers out there.

I’m in the camp where I don’t find the bass to be too much with the stock pads. It suits me wonderfully.

I got straight sides in Padauk.
