Well, in our little world where only a handful of people have each of these products, every opinion is helpful and welcome! I’m not sure if I’m any good at describing these things either, but the best advice I’ve seen is to just say what you hear!

I can absolutely see why! My Atriums are actually currently back with you guys at ZMF after an unfortunate brush with gravity, so I’m missing them at the moment, but feeling grateful to have other headphones to enjoy while they’re getting some TLC. I feel weird saying it as a tube enthusiast...

No, I don’t think that’s necessarily something to expect from a DAC, especially how I phrased it there. I think I was contrasting it with the Qutest’s unusual ability to somehow present sibilant, bright material accurately, but without it feeling fatiguing, and I have no idea how that works...
