This brings up an interesting question. @jlaako for something like the Holo DACs that haven entirely different DSD and PCM paths, do you have two correction profiles internally and change based on PCM or DSD output?

Very interesting. Whatever it's doing it's definitely using resources. My gaming PC that I've turn into a dedicated HQPlayer server is now choking on anything over 44/48k rates at DSD512 for the first time.

I sold my star 8 cable and have gone back to the stock, and besides the weight of the stock cable, I don't really miss the star 8 for sound. BTW, Mitch's filters were created using the stock cable (I verified), so you're going to get the desired frequency response output using those filters...

This is the first time I'm reading about someone getting the white noise blast with a coax connection. Are you absolutely sure you were only using the coax? If you had USB plugged in at the same time, I believe the mojo will give USB input the priority.
