This brings up an interesting question. @jlaako for something like the Holo DACs that haven entirely different DSD and PCM paths, do you have two correction profiles internally and change based on PCM or DSD output?- ra990

Very interesting. Whatever it's doing it's definitely using resources. My gaming PC that I've turn into a dedicated HQPlayer server is now choking on anything over 44/48k rates at DSD512 for the first time.- ra990

If you ever have the time, I'm sure we'd all be super curious what your measurements tell you. I'm pretty sure @jlaako wants to keep it a secret, which is fair. Lots of posts have asked and he has not ever responded in detail.- ra990

What does the new DAC correction feature actually correct? Can you elaborate on that @jlaako? Is it just making sure it's outputting optimal sample rates for the DAC, is it modifying filtering, modulation, changing DAC bits value to be optimal, or what? There's no good explanation for what it's...- ra990

RAAL-requisite CA-1a Circum-Aural Ribbon Headphone is here! @HeadAmp
The biggest thing star8 did for me was make the headphones feel a lot lighter because it's a very thin and light silver cable, compared to the stock, which kind of weighs the headphones down a bit. The stock cable does have a slightly warmer presentation, which I kind of prefer. The star8 likely...- ra990

RAAL-requisite CA-1a Circum-Aural Ribbon Headphone is here! @HeadAmp
I sold my star 8 cable and have gone back to the stock, and besides the weight of the stock cable, I don't really miss the star 8 for sound. BTW, Mitch's filters were created using the stock cable (I verified), so you're going to get the desired frequency response output using those filters...- ra990

Try Sinc-LI, that's the one that enhances soundstage and is the airiest in my experience. Someone recommended that to me earlier in this thread and I didn't believe them at first, I figured Sinc-L would be even better. But, there's something to Sinc-Ll that makes it sound a bit bigger. Also try...- ra990

Bogi, I see you providing tons of support for HQPlayer on the Audiophile Style Forum as well. You've helped me there in the past. Do you work with Signalyst or are you just an expert user? Thanks for your help- ra990

Chord Mojo 2 Thread ___ [product released January 31, 2022 -- starting on page 95 of thread]
This is the first time I'm reading about someone getting the white noise blast with a coax connection. Are you absolutely sure you were only using the coax? If you had USB plugged in at the same time, I believe the mojo will give USB input the priority.- ra990
