The K7 is not bad in fact it is very good for the money. However you asked how well it pairs with the HD660S2 and in short it doesn't pair well at all. In isolation both products are great but just not together. BTW I owned both products and kept the HD660S2 but sold the K7 which I upgraded to...- scracy

Plenty of power with balanced output but honestly sonically not a good match. Sound is far too smooth and warm, bass is very mushy and not well controlled at all, lacking in dynamics as well. Some people might like that though as all our ears are different.- scracy

Don't confuse the K9 ESS with K9 Pro ESS they are different K9 Pro ESS is much more expensive than the K9 ESS or K9 AKM. As whether you buy K9 ESS or K9 AKM depends on what flavour you want your music to be. K9 ESS punchy very well controlled bass and very clean sounding vs smooth and slightly...- scracy

Also slightly more sub bass, honestly I prefer the FH7S over the FH9. Treble is more in the style of Sennheiser, love the FD7 but the FH7S is my daily driver.- scracy
