I just watched Resolve's video and he said he'd pick the Hadenys over the Elex and maybe even the Clear. He goes onto say that the Hadenys shouldn't be seen as a "lesser Clear" but an alternate sound signature with more Harman-like traits.

How do we know they don't technically compete? If you're basing this on price categories, the Clear is pretty old and has been selling for <$1k for a couple years now. Currently it's only $790. The Hadenys is $699, not far behind at all. Frankly, if the Hadenys isn't comparable to the Clear then...

The mid-fi market in the $500-1000 range needs some life so these are welcome releases. I'm just happy that Focal isn't using their crap OG headband.

I'm not really into paying $100+ for cables so I recommend the Meze Audio 99 replacement balanced cable as a good quality budget option.

Ideally dongles would go to sleep mode after some time when no audio is being played, then wake back up when media is played again.

I run my Arya Organic with the K9 Pro AKM and the FiiO KA13 dongle and it sounds awesome with both. I only have a Schiit Jotunheim V1 to compare with. The Jotunheim has more power but sounds more grainy than the K9.

If the MMCX pin just needs some reshaping and doesn't need to be replaced, a local electronics repair shop could probably take care of that for you.

Isn't every headphone "flawed" and correctable via EQ? Imagine if every headphone shipped with a DSP cable to improve the tuning or provide different profiles. It would be more or less the same story that the headphone sounds better with the DSP cable than without.

Anyone know where to buy OEM replacement silicone tips? It's sold out from Sennheiser directly. I know there are lots of other tips to try out there but the OEM are actually perfect for me and they have the tuning foam.

Adding on top of that, the authentic German case is a gray vs the brown of the fake German case.

I think that would be a great feature! Sometimes I walk away to go do something but then get paranoid with the dongle still plugged in and it'll drain all my battery.
