It seems to vary what ppl think between DT 150 and HD 280. I looked at the HD6XX, but there's a billion of them, what does the open back give me that closed back doesn't? I think i recall reading it was better for stuff, but don't recall why.

Why i want to buy a good DAC is because i want it to match future high end headphones and maybe speakers. I understand that a high end DAC and Amp with my current headphones are overkill, as they aren´t high end at all, just, better than average i guess. But i wanted to upgrade the gear before...

Try to install the drivers manually. Choose the device in Device Manager, and then update, custom file location, and choose the .inf file. It´s probably in something like Audiogb folder/Driver/Vista64 Or something like that.
