Thank you for the response! I am trying to look at things a little differently than tech would, and see if there are any commonalities. Even in sending it in for testing, I cannot fathom how the particulars of anyone who is having issues could be duplicated faithfully in the tech department...

@gryffe Just spitballing, but is it possible to test yours with music stored on your phone (no streaming involved) maybe even using airplane mode to see if the drops still occur? That would practically eliminate things if they do. If I am way off base here just tell me lol, but trying to...

Thanks for checking! Worth a shot to try and narrow things a bit. I used mine last night for an hour or two from my BLU G91 Android with no drops or issues. The caveat is I have no SIM card in that phone and it's Wifi only in my home, just saying that for clarity. Cheers!!

Not sure what that means exactly as it employs the Wiim Home app (the same app used for Wiim Streamers). Now, in all honesty, I do not use the app function daily for sure, but I never had any issue with it and it still functions to this day, what exactly is not working for you? Wiim updates...

I am prevented from saying this because we don't recommend anyone use beta firmware anymore just in case it causes a failure in the unit. However, I cannot prevent anyone else from saying how, just know that sometimes these beta's appear to hang for a time, but they will finish! Once started do...

It does, I am testing that version. I wasn't aware of the DSD though. I rarely use that so no surprise I didn't. I thought the beta updates were password protected, but they obviously aren't now, iFi had placed them behind a wall, but I guess that was temporary, lol Enjoy! Cheers!!
