Really, it's up to everybody to decide how they want to interact with the thread. It's a fluid, large-scale social contract after all. I'm just throwing the idea out there because, as I've seen in other threads, some people are genuinely unaware it exists.- warrenpchi

Yes, but that doesn't fit as it actually exists. We were talking about protos that never made it to production.- warrenpchi

I totally get you there! 🥰 When we auditioned Romeo V1 (OG) together at NYC, I think we both felt the same way. In fact, I seem to remember both of us telling them to not change a thing!- warrenpchi

Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!
You're welcome of course! You know, it just occurred to me that I may have mis-remembered the DXII's price... so yeah, I can easily understand being way torn now. Sorry about that. I love the Stage 3's cable! I think that should be their standard cable for every model, at least in...- warrenpchi

Oh, I see, my apologies for misunderstanding. Basically, the complaints center around some members' habits of making many short posts, all in a row, over a relatively short period of time. While there is no hard rule against this, I can sympathize with the complaints and understand how...- warrenpchi

It's my hope that this thread remains one of the most popular threads here on Head-Fi, and better yet the most popular thread here period! I think a lot of Head-Fiers have built there love for the hobby through this thread -- starting as new members, and eventually growing into some of our...- warrenpchi

First of all, you do realize that nobody takes any of that seriously right? Secondly, likewise. Y'all carry on as you were then. Just use the report button if there are any issues, no need to PM me about it.- warrenpchi

I can not. As stated in our Posting Guidelines, private messages are private, and there's no need for me to get into who has made complaints. Suffice it to say, not all of you in this thread are happy with some of the rapid fire posts that happen here.- warrenpchi

Really? The Watercooler Thread has always been behind this thread in the number of posts. Over in The Watercooler Thread, Rockwell75 has chastised people for not multi-quoting. Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!
Actually, it would be a great fit for acoustica. The DXII excels with any good recording of natural instruments and vocals. Is it possible to get some sibilance occasionally? Sure. But that's par for the course when it comes any W signature, and is largely going to be recording-dependent in...- warrenpchi

I love the DXII. It has intoxicating highs, but because of that, I probably wouldn't use it for Rap, house or EDM. I can easily picture how it would be fatiguing. Spartacus would be a much better fit IMO.- warrenpchi

Okay, that's what I seem to remember, that there were no changes made to the standard version. The Noir, yes. Standard, no. Thanks for confirming!- warrenpchi
