Just an FYI, I believe that Josh Valor received his review unit directly from Sennheiser. His review of the 620 was sponsored by headphones.com (who is selling the 620). Despite this, his review was not something to use to promote these headphones. His thoughts were Luke warm at best.

It's night and day difference. One is great, and one is okay, especially with the right tube. You can speculate, I can state the facts as it relates to my hearing and my system.

I've tried all three. Maybe it could be age related hearing loss but I hear no difference between the three other than more adjustments available with low impedance

Trustworthy? Could it be their honest opinion? Perhaps. After all, if I remember correctly these NDH 30 were made for studio use, not a widespread consumer product. Tuning as such is much different than many of the other cans they rank higher. Or, they could be un-trustworthy! LOL...
