IIRC it was a fairly bright sounding DAC. It is was a predecessor to DAVE. If you find one cheap, I'd give it a go. It's not as though DAC technology benefits from higher power processing as critically as other media.

Unfortunately MConnnect and Roon aren't mutually exclusive in my experience. MConnect is very good but there is zero integration between SD card files and Qobuz/Tidal. That's where Roon shines. 2go always worked a little better than Poly BTW.

I have a combination of ethernet, 2.5ghz, 5ghz, and now 6ghz. No issues. I don't have to be on same 2.4ghz as poly for it to work. Hiwever, if you have a separate IOT SSID, that can have some "sandbox" situation that keeps the 5ghz separate. WiFi isn't simple anymore.
