I have a combination of ethernet, 2.5ghz, 5ghz, and now 6ghz. No issues. I don't have to be on same 2.4ghz as poly for it to work. Hiwever, if you have a separate IOT SSID, that can have some "sandbox" situation that keeps the 5ghz separate. WiFi isn't simple anymore.

You need to reformat the SD card and reload the folders. Or, you can try to delete the index and try again.

So, you can't add files to the SD card via hotspot mode. You need to add files to the SD card by your computer, insert it into Poly, and then build an index by using GoFigure. Folder structure doesn't matter once you index the SD card.

The AQ adapter is okay, but works poorly with stiff cables (like most of the upper tier AQ stuff). Even Nordost cables are clunky with this adapter. Nice idea, not great with such a small device like Mojo2. It's worth getting a quality 3.5 to RCA cable.

For phone/tablet the cable must be OTG. You can use an OTG to connect to laptop. I've not had issues using OTG cables to computers.

I've not had any connectivity issues with Mojo1, Mojo2, or Hugo2 like you are having. It shouldn't be that hard for you. I'm sure once you get the cable sorted out you'll be good to go.
