    Elysian Pilgrim

Damn the Pilgrim completely destroyed my UM Mest MK2 in almost all aspects. Had a chance to compare the Pilgrim with my Aful P8. The P8 did much better than the MK2, actually both the Pilgrim and P8, tuning wise, sound pretty similar. The difference is the Pilgrim sounds more airy and open while...

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?

He might not be interested in IEM. Maybe this is more of his interest: https://www.wilsonaudio.com/products/wamm/wamm-master-chronosonic A bargain at under $1m ($850k +/-) per pair.

Damn, you boosted the three lowest freq in the app. I tried it and it makes the bass muddy . The most I've added to the bass is the lowest freq on the EQ to +0.5 to 1db. I don't normally listen to bass heavy music tho.

I am not sure how they tuned the ZX1 with their crossover setting, but to me, the bass is much more like a Planar type of bass than DD.

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?

At the end of the day, it is still a planar type of bass. It is fast, accurate and punchy but kind of lack of rumble compared to DD bass. Easily EQ able to reach DD kind of bass, but still it won't move much "air" like a DD can. The good thing from most TWS with an EQ in the app is that the EQ...

ZX1 PNK not having enough volume? I'd be deaf if I were to listen with max volume on my S24U and I am 41. It is true that on my S24U, the volume is not that high, but still loud enough at max volume. In my PC, pairing it up with BT-W5, the sound is much louder compared to my phone.

Absolutely. When changing from Foam tips to silicone tips, you can immediately tell the difference right away. Wider nozzle to narrow nozzle will also change the sound a little bit.

So after having my Aviot ZX1 PNK for a little over 2 weeks now, I can confidently say that this is the best sounding TWS that I have to date. I recently bought an Elysian Pilgrim and has been using it exclusively everyday for 4 days. It is a really good sounding IEM and I really love Elysian's...

[FiiO UTWS5] True Wireless Bluetooth Earhooks as Usual,Coupled with Independent AK4332 DAC

Elysian Pilgrim with my mmcx UTWS5. Purchased the mmcx to pentaconn adapter through Amazon. This combo is very good. Sound is full, plenty of headroom, don't feel any different when using 4.4mm connected to my Fiio K11.

Why so many comparing the Pilgrim with the Anni 23? I have seen people say "Oh annie 23 is still better" like no sh.t that thing cost $3000.

This is crazy. I can hear more detail with the Pilgrim than my UM Mest MK2.

I don't find the Pilgrim bright at all. I played some of my test tracks that known to give a sibilance (lots of cymbals) and the pilgrim is not even close to sound bright nor sibilance. I am paired my Pilgrim with Hiby R6 III as DAC for my pc. Here is my test track for sibilance

You are correct. It is my current favorite tips. I usually use Moondrop Springtips as my main tips, but sometimes it is too flimsy and can't be inserted too deep into my ear canals although it still give a good seal.

I've ordered "Effect Audio Signature Series ARES S 4 wires with ConX" cable thru Hifigo and the pentaconn connector. I hope this is a good cable as it is quite expensive.

I am using this tips that I forgot the brand. This tips allow me to insert the nozzle deeper into my ear canal and very easy to get good seal. The spinfit is good too, but since the material is quite tacky, inserting it deeper is quite a challenge.

Btw, I made a mistake and ordered the Pilgrim using the 4.4mm connector. Luckily, I have my Hiby R6 to use the 4.4mm. Is there any pentaconn cable that is 3.5mm for under $100?

Just got my Pilgrim. Seems to be very smooth to my ears. I am using the included Medium Spinfit tips. The bass is pretty punchy with enough rumble. Mid is not recessed but not too forward either. Very detailed in my brief listening. The treble is very smooth to my ears. No harshness whatsoever.
