ok guys I bought a second-hand pair of DT990s they are in new condition..   but the retailer did not state which ohm version they are   how do I tell? is there anything behind the earpads that would indicate or would I have to test them?   im currently using them with a meridian explorer

recently bought some denon 5000 to pair with the asus essence st, though I was going to be blown away..pretty dissappointed, I prefer ie8 with Sony X which costs way less   any suggestions :S?

my friend is a beatboxer and hes after some good speakers he'll be using shure SM58 mic and is after some speakers which have very nice bass   his budget is 250 pounds   im not sure if he needs an amp too maybe to power the speakers?   all help and suggestions much appriecated

its says my sen hd 595s are 50 ohm but the lowest setting on the Xonar soundcard ST is 64ohm, will they be ok? another thing do you think i should get a better power supply? my power supply at the moment is 300w, just wondering, thanks!
