Shopping around for passive preamplifiers as I have several active ones, and not finding many that hit the 2 above criteria. Suggestions?

Matrix sells a PCI card with a regular old USB 3.0 socket and the option for the user to add different power sources, some of which can cost more than the entire computer. Anyway I have this card, and I power it from my PC's PSU because I just didnt want to fall down that rabbit hole of exotic...

Hello - Any help would be appreciated: I have the foo_out_asio extension added. "E-DSP Audio Processor (WDM)" is selected in foobar's output (shouldnt an ASIO component show up here?). But the thing wont even play a file, it wont even start or show album/track information in the right hand list...

Not sure if the combined costs of this equipment warrants posting in this "Summit-Fi" section... But since K1000 discussion tends to concentrate itself here; this seems like the best move.   I wish to stay solid state, away from T-Amps, and purchase new. Gilmore amps seems to be more...
