One thing that I appreciate about Head-fi is the opportunity to discover new Manufacturers that I might not have otherwise.  Head-fi, with it's large and diverse membership, are a great equalizer in the marketplace.  A startup in Asia, or a crowd funded source in Oregon, can have a solid impact...
