Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless 3 Impressions Thread
Use case: With Fiio M3 in Aptx mode, mostly FLAC files, using Comply foam tips made for these. Mostly using for gym and running. Impressions after 3 weeks: Returned for replacement (giving me the time to reflect and write this review) - Yesterday the sound in my R. earbud disappeared. The touch...- tracyrick

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?
Whoa! MT just popped up as an option on the Comply compatibility site with this foamie result: TrueGrip™ TW-200-A https://www.complyfoam.com/products/twzz-truegrip-1 Previously there was only Melomania 1, no MT to select. So previously no known foamie solution for MT that I'm aware of. Now I...- tracyrick

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?
erockg - Ref. SpinFit, you are not crazy, I had the same issue. I had sound cut-out and just strange fit issues overall. I only tried on two runs so far, so I'm waiting to try a few more times before being sure what the problem is. Definitely having more problems than with the MT stock ear tips...- tracyrick

Hey Misery, ref. MT: Which ePro tips are you using exactly? Amazon has 3 models. Looks like TW00 fits Noble Falcon. I also see EP00 and EP01. The stock MT silicone tips are borderline OK for me on runs (I've been going back and forth on whether to return my MTs or not). I do find myself trying...- tracyrick

Audeze LCD-2C Classic - Impressions Thread
Try Tool. Bass guitars and drums are awesome. Mixing excellent. Dynamic range huge. Lots of great songs. I used Tool to compare how bass guitar notes sound on my 2C vs. 6xx. It was easily clear that the 2C was the winner for better resolution and impact.- tracyrick

Modi 2 and 2U discontinued, Modi 3 now live.
Thinking about Modi 3 as maybe an upgrade from my Fiio X3ii. 2 cable questions: RCA - Going from Modi 3 to Magni 3, I need a very short RCA to RCA, right? Shortest I can find is 1.5 feet...anyone have a better suggestion...- tracyrick

Audeze LCD-2C Classic - Impressions Thread
BubbaJay, I know you responded to my PM - thanks for that - but have you actually gone back and forth with your X5ii (using its DAC) vs. the Mimby and heard a significant difference between the two? Do you only hear this "detailed warmth" and "analog feel" with the Mimby, and you don't with the...- tracyrick

Audeze LCD-2C Classic - Impressions Thread
Has anyone confirmed if either of these cases fit LCD2C? The Amazon one looks nice if the phones will fit in it. Maybe it will take up less room. I also found a bigger Monoprice case that might be better than the one listed above...? Here's the link for that...- tracyrick

Audeze LCD-2C Classic - Impressions Thread
Okay, this makes a lot of sense. I can see how the 6xx is more laid back and even smoother so maybe less fatiguing. I'll try using the 6xx instead of LCD when I'm working for multiple hours and just want background music. Maybe I'll find value in the 6xx that way. Thanks for the feedback.- tracyrick

Audeze LCD-2C Classic - Impressions Thread
I've been going back and forth between my LCD2C and HD6xx for many days now. I'm at the point where I can't find anything better about the HD6xx - they may be completely obsolete for me. At first I found them to be very similar. I still think they are somewhat close, but now I can notice a veil...- tracyrick

Audeze LCD-2C Classic - Impressions Thread
Thanks for the tips. I'll research the Reveal app. I'll also try cutting bass a little. I agree, subtracting works better than adding with EQ. Question is if my X3ii can EQ it well. Might have to get a Loki. For my Sines, via my X3ii, I use the Tyll EQ of less treble and slightly more mids (-3...- tracyrick

Audeze LCD-2C Classic - Impressions Thread
Got the B stock version on sale. Couldn’t resist the value. So far can’t see or hear any defects. Have no idea why my pair were called B stock. 3 days of listening so far. Doing a lot of back and forth with my HD6XX. Have to turn up the volume a little each time for the HD, and then down again...- tracyrick

Audeze LCD-2 Closed
Yeah, that helps, thanks. I listen to my Sine at a desk with a Magni 3 and the DAC from my X3ii (doing so right now). I have Shure SE535 for exercise/mobile use. The Sine doesn't block enough sound and isn't meant for sweating, so I don't try to use on the go. If the LCD is a big upgrade then I...- tracyrick

Audeze LCD-2 Closed
I'm considering buying these CB vs. the regular open Classic version. The consensus on the open version seems to be that the bass is great but the treble region is the weak point (and maybe the mids a little too?). Looks like there is a consensus developing on the CB that it has better balance...- tracyrick

Audeze LCD-2C Classic - Impressions Thread
What about the treble area? The Sine are tuned for a lot of energy in the high end. Possibly because they are designed to be portable and cut through ambient noise better. Do the LCD2C sound more balanced?- tracyrick

Audeze SINE Series
antdroid, Very difficult to decide between Sine and Mobius if you don't want to keep both. I chose Sine and sold my Mobius. Just have to look at your usage case and sound preference. Seems like the easy answer would be to keep the Mobius 'cause it has so many extra features not on the Sine. But...- tracyrick

SINE ALTERNATE EARPAD COMPARISON (Sine vs. Aurvana, Bluecell, Brainwavz) I’m a big fan of these headphones, especially for rocking out. The sound has big impact with great clarity and details. Loki Mini Impressions
I tried to read through most of this thread before posting...I think this is a new question. [Gear/Usage case: Fiio X3ii with 10 band EQ, Magni 3, HP is Audeze Sine] When using my Audeze Sine, I usually follow the advice of Tyll (Inner Fidelity) and EQ my 16K down by 5db. I also turn up 500 &...- tracyrick

Audeze LCD-2C Classic - Impressions Thread
Can anyone compare the Elex to the LDC-2C? Right now I'm torn between those two. Reading that the Elex sounds different than the Elear, so not sure if the Elear comparison above really makes sense. Audeze Mobius review / impressions
I like the way you explain the stronger impact of the Sine+amp. That was my take too. I also get more details out of the Sine, which I really appreciate. Not sure how you get "...a more airy sound" from the Mobius. I got more air from the Sine. Relative to the Sine, the Mobius sound warm to me...- tracyrick

Audeze Mobius review / impressions
Point is to see how the Mobius compares to other phones. This is an impressions thread. Comparisons is a common way to establish an "impression." I happen to own a pair of Sines (which Audeze also makes) so I compared to those. Mostly with music only, cause that's my use case. To your point...- tracyrick
