I'll try to keep an open mind and may be surprised one day! We all hear differently and also have a sound we prefer. Perhaps I have been too hasty in an initial evaluation or a tube,wire or component but I am not terribly patient to wait until X hours hoping something will transform.

Yup, my go to in the Envy are Elrog TM and quite a few decent drivers.

If it sounds this good with the stock drivers and 300B in the Envy, just imagine how nice this pairing would sound with better tubes!

@ThanatosVI, I was thrilled to see your 'custom' Envy with all the upgrades but in the classic walnut chassis! I am fine with my standard walnut version and frankly glad I did not know this was an option and will use the funds I saved to pay for my Immanis and perhaps the 'new' version of the HM...

There is nothing wrong with the standard Envy! I didn't care about the 'better' tubes and upgraded copper wire wasn't enough to make me go for the Performance version. I chose to spend the $$$ on great drivers and all versions of the Elrogs and I'm glad I did. YMMV

WOW!!! The generocity of HeadFi members is frankly remarkable and stunning @MokhaMark . You are now one of the few in North America (or anywhere) that has BOTH of the Raal to do a true A/B. I am looking forward to your take @Hiker816 as I prefer a more forward, detailed and dynamic presentation!
