just seen on the Focal website that the elears and utopias are now coming with 9 foot  (2m) cords instead of the 13 footers (3m). obviously someone at Focal was listening. personnaly I don't mind the 13 feet, but most don't so good on Focal for listening to us

I have both the Elear and Senn. 600's. would not get rid of either. l just wish the Elear was as comfy has the 600s. I can wear my 600s all day long. I do find them both very musical and I prefer the Elear but choice is always good so the 600s will stay

dumb question here. do u need a balanced  source to listen thru the balanced output?

bought mine from a brick and mortor  store, not online. returned to the store no problem. just received a e-mail from focal giving me a 5 year warranty.also $1000 is a deal, $1500 in Canada, a 50% increase, when the utopias are $5000 which is a 25% increase over the American price. not sure why...

totally agree, absolutley wonderfull headphones, i am am on my second pair though. first pair had the same bottom out as everybody else is talking about. this pair is fantastic. i think for me this is about has good as it will get. the utopias are better but not 4 times the price better.. very...

i had the same problem with my first pair. only noticed it on one song "hey you" by pink floyd on cd. i could see the left driver visibly bounce and hit the earpad. my local store sent them back and i recieved my new pair about a week later. no problems with this pair and they sound better then...

Listened to some great music today with the dt1990 thru a bryston headphone amp, wow great dynamics and ease of sound . not relaxed or laid back back but they never seemed to reach there limit when played hard and loud with demanding music they never seemed strained or distorted. wonderful combo...
