I did give them another try. Still the same, bass maybe a bit tighter, but a lot flimsier. Not everyone ears are the same.

You guys really make me want to buy the XE6. I already have the RN6, and absolutely love it for its transparency stage combined with great bass. Would the XE6 be too much of the same?

Thanks for all your input. I bought the RN6 because after reading all the reviews my guess is it would be a bit smoother and the bigger soundstage pulled me in. And I do really like it, using it with the black module. But…… looking into the XE6 also, and the Volur. Because the itch never stops 😀

I swith between the Xelastec, the Crystal and the provided Symbio's W (without the foam).

I use the RN6 daily with the RU7 and absolutly love it. Far better than the Hiby R6 2020 I also use (but not with the RN6). Can you tell a bit about the W4 compared with the RU7 in combination with the RN6?
