Have an MMX 300 with a failed cable. This is an unusual TRRRS to TRRS cable. I really don't want the inline control. Is there a way to get a straight through cable? Thanks

Dan said awhile back that he intended ETHER 2 to be the TOTL for open, and the ETHER Flow Closed to be the TOTL for that format, and had no plans to produce a closed version of the ETHER 2.

Anyone happen to have handy the 1.1 response graph, can't seem to find it. Is anyone not using any of the 3 pads?

I am guessing that the newer pads have less isolation than the latest ETHER Flow C pads

I would think that they would sound very similar since they are using reasonably close software approaches from what I can tell (and of course the hardware is identical). If you hear a difference, please elaborate here. Thanks

Poweramp doesn't require a pop email account to be created, it just installs easily, and the UI is excellent in my opinion, which is important to me. Given all that, I had no impetus to install Neutron. To each their own.

Well, finally after getting all my music copied over and set up, got around to trying out my M11. Also the first listen to my new Aeons. It is surprising how little my new travel setup gives up in sound quality to my much larger and more expensive desktop rig. Very happy with these purchases...

A good reason for trying Poweramp is that, unlike Neutron, they actually support installation without Play support, no hackery required. I bought it and am trying it out. There is also the free Hiby app which is easy to install out of the box.

I think I answered my own question. Innerfidelity has graphs for both. The Aeon is roughly equal or better than the Beyer over most of the range, especially dramatic below 400Hz.

I have used the Beyer' DT770 Pros as my travel 'phones for many years. I have ETHER C Flow for desktop, and have been kicking around the idea of getting a pair of Aeons for travel (though that is probably overkill). Anyone have a read on how isolation would compare to the DT770? Thanks

Based on feedback here, I bought an M11. I haven't set it up yet. Does it support deep folder nesting? Like: Category - Artist - Album - Tracks The only level I don't have on my X5 is Category Thanks

After some digging I found the output power, if Android Authority can be believed, I calculate 50mW into 80ohms which is substantial. Interesting product. I am tending towards the M11 but the V20 certainly is high on the price/performance scale.

SR15 is only 5mW into 80 olms. The M11 has plenty of power, but I thought all Fiio DAPs had the same poor quality shuffle issue.
