Hifiman Sundara (HE400i upgraded, around $500)
I had one 560, but sold them, I'm feel a bit regretful. My fear in buying a new headphone is missing the soft dynamics of the 560.- kidgafanhoto

Win a SUSVARA
I was a happy owner of a pair of HE-560. The air, the tone, the detail and the smoothness: I hope the SUSVARA take it to a new breathtaking level for me.- kidgafanhoto

Hifiman Edition X
For me the HE-560 is very above the other headphones you cited. I don't listened to this headphones, but based on what I've read about they, the HEX have a better soundstage and imagine, what is better for jazz, maybe (?) capella vocals too. Hip-hop, r and b are genres who need bass, idk about...- kidgafanhoto

I never witnessed this harshness on the treble of the 560, maybe I had the "magic pair". On the other hand I had an HE-500, and man... the treble were a pain in the A**- kidgafanhoto

Interesting, I had an HE-560 and agreed totally with you, they had the most soft treble I ever heard ! But almost all people on head-fi tell that 560 have a harsh treble, I don't understand... I was thinking in buy an HE-400i because of they affordable price and because most people tell that...- kidgafanhoto

Thanks for the review ! You told that "HE-400i generally has more treble than the HE-560" , but people who listened both tell that the 560 has more a fatiguing treble, while the 400i have a soft treble.- kidgafanhoto
