A bit confusing the firmware versions. What is the difference between them? Tried to update to BT version 1.47 but the windows app says v. 1.37 and Gaia says v. 1.30!

My only complaint with Focal Clear MG is that it sometimes can produce some click/noise from the headband construction when I move my head. Is this a problem with the Bathys?

Have anyone tried ifi micro iDSD Signature on Clear MG? ifi seems to be a great match with them. Guess micro iDSD Signature would be an upgrade from hip-dac2?

Anyone compared Go bar with hip dac2? I can't hear any big differences between them.

From a test here at Head-fi: ... while it comes as a surprise that the RU6 is a touch metallic sounding in the upper mids/treble and can become just a bit edgy. The RU6 is somewhat bolder and aggressive compared to the Go bar which is calmer and more polite.

I love the combination hip-dac2 and Clear MG. Would Go bar be a step up when it comes to sound quality?

Can you guys recommend a excellent portable DAC/amp for Clear MG. Budget about $600. I've looked at EarMen Colibri, Lotoo PAW S2, ifi Go bar and Cayin RU6. I ovn a DragonFly Cobalt and ifi hip-dac2.

They are 3.5 mm but the Sundara cable is 3.5 mm stereo and the Clear MG looks like a 3.5 mm mono plug.

Just got a new one. Very tight fit and no rattle. The old one from the first batch was like a rattlesnake!

From ifi-audio.com: "For those ‘hissy’ IEMs, use the 3.5mm S-Balanced. Enjoy all the benefits of balanced from your single-ended connection." You should also turn off power match.

The sent me a new. No problems with the 4,4 mm balanced connection on the new one.

It clicks but I can still move it a little bit. Enough so one channel cuts or I hear some noise. Have you tried to move or turn the plug around? The cable that came with MDR-Z1R is better than the Sony/Kimber MUC-B20SB1, but no contact problems with any of them on my TA-ZH1ES.

Have no issue with the 3.5 mm port but it seems like there is poor contact in the 4.4 mm balanced port. It's a Sony 4.4 mm balanced cable. Don't have this problem with this cable on Sony TA-ZH1ES.

I think P7 W is very comfortable. I would say it's excellent. P9 Signature on the other hand was terrible!

Looks like AH-D9200 use a different plug.
