Agreed. Frankly speaking the new WE300B is very good with sweet mid and better imaging than Elrog. The Elrog is not a typical 300B but an all round performer, though not sounds as "tuby" as WE.

No, the non-Apex one. I came across a very good deal on an used Bartok of 2020 at USD75K so it is no brainer for me.

A proud new owner of Bartok for my 2 channel setup. It sounds so amazingly and much better than Chord mTT2 and Rockna Wavelight I previously used.

It is possible but not with the maximum upsampling rate. I have once used M-Scaler with Rockna Wavelight (in a short while after I sold my TT2) but the result is below par, with boring sound and lack of dynamics.
